Hesta Scene in Caldbeck

In Caldbeck, North Lakes

Our shop in the heart of the village is set across two floors where you'll find a lovely mix of gifts and homeware, products that aren't always found on the high street.  We stock a mix of brands as well as one off handmade items, many of which are Cumbrian made.

The name Hesta Scene comes from the Cumbrian word 'hesta' which translates to 'have you'.

Caldbeck  is a beautiful village on the Northern Edge of the Lake District, approximately 25 minutes from Carlisle, Keswick and Penrith.  It has a great sense of community and has lots going on. There are shops, a great pub (The Oddfellows Arms), two fantastic cafes (Watermill Cafe at Priests Mill and The Muddy Duck) and some lovely local walks.  Take a walk through Parsons Park to Hesket Newmarket for a pint of real Ale in Britain's first co-operatively owned pub, The Old Crown. For more information on Hesta Scene's Caldbeck location, you can visit the Caldbeck Online website or www.caldbeck.org.uk.
We hope you get to visit Caldbeck soon and look forward to welcoming you at Hesta Scene.
Open Tuesdays to Sundays 10am to 4pm (seasonal hours Jan/Feb, please check our social media for opening times during these two months).
